Terms of Service

The ground rules for using this website and its browser-based tools: what the service is, acceptable use, ownership, and liability.

Acceptance

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What this service is

This site provides free access to a browser-based image editor — an independent hosting of the open-source PhotoCraft application. The editor runs locally in your browser; we deliver the software and the pages around it. The service is provided as is, free of charge, and editing requires no account.

Your content and your responsibility

  • The files you open in the editor stay on your device. We never receive them.
  • You are responsible for keeping backups of your originals and your edited results. The web editor has no autosave; closing the tab discards unsaved work.
  • You are responsible for having the rights to the images you edit and for how you use the results.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the site to break applicable law, to distribute unlawful content, to attempt to overload or interfere with the service, or to redistribute the hosted software from our infrastructure in violation of its licenses.

Intellectual property

  • The PhotoCraft software is developed by the ArtCraft team and licensed under MIT OR Apache-2.0; the license files are included with the hosted application.
  • The ArtCraft name and marks belong to the ArtCraft team. This site refers to them in plain text for attribution only and does not suggest endorsement.
  • Site text, layout and examples are produced by this project unless marked as upstream material.

No warranty

The service, including the hosted editor, is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. The editor is early-alpha software: results may differ from desktop applications, and complex files may not convert perfectly.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site operator is not liable for damages arising from use of the site or the editor — including lost data (such as unsaved edits), lost profits, or business interruption. Keep your original files.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time. Versioned editor builds may be added or removed as upstream releases are tested.

Governing terms

These terms are written by the site operator. The governing law and the operator's identity will be published on this page together with the site's launch contact information.
