How this site handles data: your images are processed in your browser and never uploaded; here is what the server records and what it never collects.

The short version

  • Your images never leave your device. The editor is a WebAssembly application that runs in your browser; opening, editing and exporting all happen locally.
  • Editing requires no account, and the editing flow never asks for personal information.
  • The site's server delivers the editor software and these pages. Like any web server, it records standard technical logs.

What the server processes

When you load a page or the editor, your browser requests files from our hosting provider. The provider (Cloudflare) processes standard request data — IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp — to deliver content, protect against abuse, and keep the site available. This is inherent to web hosting; we add no tracking of our own on top of it.

What we never collect

  • The contents, names or pixels of the files you open or export in the editor.
  • Any document, text or project data — these stay in your browser tab and your device's memory.
  • Advertising or cross-site tracking identifiers.

Local storage

The editor may store small preferences (such as UI settings) in your browser's localStorage. You can clear this at any time via your browser settings; clearing it does not affect any files on your device.

Analytics

If, and only if, analytics is enabled for this site, it is limited to anonymous page-view counts. File names, file contents and editor actions are never included. Any standard tracking blocker will also block it.

Cookies

The site sets no advertising cookies. A language-preference cookie may be stored if a language switch is used.

Third parties

  • Cloudflare — hosting and content delivery for the site and the editor files.
  • GitHub — linked for the upstream project; its own privacy terms apply when you visit.
  • Upstream software — the PhotoCraft application runs locally in your browser and does not send your files anywhere.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and its "last updated" date before the change takes effect.
